Early Spring Meeting - Swinley Forest Golf Club

The Society's first meeting of the year was held at its traditional venue, Swinley Forest Golf Club, on 19 Mar 25. After the traditional Captain's drive in, 27 players competed for the Claret Jug and, for the 0ver 70s, the Bill Morris Trophy.

On a day of very respectable scoring, Simon 'Spatz' Paterson won the Claret Jug with 40 Stableford points, just ahead of second placed John Blaymires on 39 points. The Bill Morris trophy was won by Mike Dickman on 37 points, with runner-up Tom Cox on 36 points.
