History
The annual match between the Aero GS and the Army OGS was inaugurated in 2001. The original trophy for the match was the Bi-plane trophy of an Army Auster but it became irreparable. In 2007 Mr Ron Jones, Marketing Director of Agusta Westland and member of the Aero GS, presented this outstanding replacement trophy of a laser-engraved Apache helicopter as a very suitable and appropriate symbol of the match.
Unfortunately the match has not been played since 2014.
