History
The Aeroplane Magazine donated a number of trophies to the Society through Jack Bryans, a long standing member, and his name appears on a number of our trophies. As the trophies are very similar, there has been confusion with the other trophies and in some cases have been incorrectly engraved. The actual winners are listed below, with the incorrect names as engraved in brackets.
Prior to 2023, the trophy was awarded to the annual winner in the Over 75 age category. This was changed to the Over 70 age category in 2023, to bring this trophy into line with the Bill Morris Trophy (awarded at the Early Spring Meeting) and the Jack Bryan's Over 70 Trophy (awarded at the West Country Meeting).
